We have been helping personal trainers and fitness experts reach more people and make more money. Most of them have grown more in the past 6 months than in their entire history. There is plenty of people around who are willing to invest in their health and fitness with the right person.

A number of my clients are thriving even in these tough economic times. One of them, Amber Technology, a small maker of herbal supplements and treatments for pets, is growing in sales and profits because we are focusing them on massive actions — calling their 350 plus nationwide dealers on a monthly basis to push sales through that channel, and redoing their website and SEO /PPC programs to attract those pet owners who want safe, effective, inexpensive treatments for a wide variety of pet ailments including Parvo, Distemper, heartworm, and even the ill effects of old age. Amber Technology has grown from $270,000 in 2007, to $420,000 in 2008. We are targeting sales of over $600,000 in 2009. Profits are growing even faster.

My business, and industry, is not affected by the economy. I am on track to do significantly better than last year, and I am adding personnel. I am a public insurance adjuster (I help people recover money on property insurance claims by representing them on an expert level). Actually, people may be more likely to use me in this economy, as they need every penny they can get, and they are not as worried about filing an insurance claim as they have been in the past.

Brad What recession? We are fine here in Australia and will go on being fine. We have a Millionaire Mindset so we know that with what we are doing, in our business, that our family is on the way to reaching all of our dreams:) My husband has written a blog about Recession (How to Survive A Recession) http://howtosurvivearecession.iiabblog.com/, we have a blog and two websites so we are Recession proof. The world is just waiting for you, you just need to know what you want!!!

A client from the systems/software development industry in Mexico, who has participated in an ActionClub ended on march, and is now in the GrowthClub, has a revenue increase goal of 50% for the 2nd. quarter of 2009. At May (one month before the 2nd quarter ends) he already achieved his goal!

A great company which is booming in these times. The product, a nutraceutical supplement boosts the immune system. I am a biochemist and will not recommend anything that I have not tried. Many companies have solicited my endorsement and this is the first one I have endorsed. I ordered an 8 week supply, tested it for two weeks and all of the three neighbors I gave the samples to came back and ordered.

It is interesting. I do wonder what the impact would be if we did not have televisions or radio. I do not listen to it why because it affects my judgement, call it BAD SEED! We have remained positive and continued to carry out our work in real estate sales often looking for better ways to do business. We have improved our presentations, our statistics and areas that we believe customers need better service, guess what OUR SALES have gone up dramatically. Stay positive and be careful what you listen to if its BAD SEED do not take it in. Stay around positive people!

I have regular contact with roughly 50 businesses, as well as the ones I deal with as a client or customer and I haven’t found ONE that is struggling, let alone feeling a ‘recession’. Personally, I’m doing better than ever in my business and my wife’s business has increased turnover by almost 800% in the past year or so…….what recession indeed!

Here in the UK I am working within the Telecoms sector, great times as everyone is looking at how they can trim….to be fair, its more to do with habits than anything else. Majority of busniess owners we deal with have not been concerned with the little things that may make a big difference (I believe you saying Brad is “Isn’t that interesting” or sometimes even “Isn’t that dumb!!” Classic example, very large motor manufacturer with offices here in the UK have just invested a vast amount in replacing their IT and Communications infrastructure, when asked if now was a good time, the response back was - “this is the best time, we haven’t stopped for 2 years solid, now we have slowed a little we have realised how out of date and slow our systems are, we need to gear up for the next shift” There are always opportunities there, you just need to be interested in your customer, interested in their solution and interested in getting the right result for them.
